He is an eminent Prosthodontist and immediate past president of the Indian Prosthodontics Society (IPS) and Founder Secretary of the Indian Board of Prosthodontics (IBP).

He has been a teacher of Prosthodontics for over 30 years during which he has trained both Under graduates and Post Graduates, of which, he headed the Department of Prosthodontics for 10 years. He is a well-respected Academician and a clinician par excellence. During his teaching days, he has been a UG and PG examiner in various universities all over the country, an Inspector for the Dental Council of India and a member of the Post Graduate Board of Studies of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
