Veneers, Crowns and Bridges

Crown your Pearls
@ Kamala Dental..! Restore, Protect, Shine..!

We may advise you to go for fixed crowns after root canal treatment to replace lost tooth structure and to regain normal function and aesthetics. Depending on the location and amount of remaining tooth structure, partial or full coverage crowns are suggested. These crowns are manufactured using digital CAD-CAM technology in minimal time and with maximum precision. Partial restorations like Inlays and Onlays require less tooth preparation and are used when there is minimal structural damage.

Crowns made of advanced materials like Zirconia and highly-defined natural materials like EMAX (Lithium disilicate) are the best choices. We also have crowns of economic range starting from pure metal crowns to porcelain-fused-metal crowns. The fastest delivery of these crowns is ensured at Kamala Dental Speciality Hospital using digital impressions and designing.

We also provide temporary crowns for your teeth till you get your permanent crowns. They maintain the appearance and functionality of the tooth while protecting the prepared natural tooth from sensitivity and damage. They are made of acrylic or composite materials, or may even be 3D printed.

3D printed dental crowns represent a cutting-edge advancement in dental technology.  Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, dentists can create highly precise digital models of patients’ teeth, allowing for customized crowns that fit perfectly and function seamlessly.

Defects in shape, structure & colour of the tooth can be masked with enamel-like shells known as laminates or veneers. Smile corrections are done by DSD (Digital Smile Designing) which is a revolutionary attempt to get the best out of cosmetic dental procedures. Kamala Dental Specialty Hospital is well known for cosmetic dental procedures. When the function is combined with aesthetics, you have an amazing smile with unmatched perfection.

Inlays and onlays are indirect restorations fabricated outside the mouth and cemented to the cavity prepared on a tooth. They are offered as minimally invasive options at Kamala Dental Speciality Hospital.

Inlays and onlays are used mainly in molars or premolars, when the tooth has experienced too much damage to support a basic filling, but not so much damage that a crown is necessary. They have better strength and durability compared to bulky fillings.

The key comparison between them is the amount and part of the tooth that they cover. An inlay will incorporate the pits and fissures of a tooth, mainly encompassing the chewing surface between the cusps. An onlay will involve one or more cusps being covered. If all cusps and the entire surface of the tooth is covered, this restoration is known as a crown

Conventional Method

Inlay or onlay wax patterns are made directly from the mouth or from cast created with an impression from the mouth using wax and then creating a metal, composite or ceramic pattern using lost wax technique.

CAD-CAM Technique

CAD-CAM (Computer Aided Design-Computer Aided Manufacture) is used for fabrication of inlays and onlays. It is possible to deliver these indirect restorations in a single or multiple visits. It works by first making a virtual 3D impression produced by an intra-oral scan. The 3D image is then sent to the chosen software program, to create a digital wax up and milling is then done through CAD CAM software.

At Kamala Dental, our clinicians will evaluate the status of your broken/missing tooth and suggest the best feasible options in as less time as is plausible, i.e., in a few hours.
