At times, a thick band of muscle tissue that connects your lip or tongue to the floor of the mouth, may be seen connected way up to the tip of the tongue or lip, which may cause restriction of its movement and spacing between the teeth.
Once the permanent teeth erupts, it is better to remove the same by means of surgical procedure using blade or laser under local anesthesia. A timely intervention can prevent spacing between teeth and also the occurrence of gum recession.
